Hello! My name is Robyn Laura Oblinger and I am the resident artist and owner of Cryptid’s Den Tattoo! I’ve been tattooing for close to five years now and I have a degree in Digital Media from MECA (MECAD now). I grew up in Rhode Island as a kid and spent many days on my lonesome drawing dragons in my front yard or tracing anime characters from my fav shows with a light board. I always knew I wanted to work with animation, video games, any way for me to have that escapism and create it for others.

I didn’t have the patience for animation unfortunately, and I couldn’t really grasp 3D design, and illustration is always where I’ve felt comfortable. When the pandemic hit, I was given the opportunity to begin my journey as a tattoo artist. Since starting I haven’t wanted to stop since I began, and now that I own my own shop I can really bring what I want creatively to my clients!

I don’t like to limit myself to one specific type of tattooing stylistically, but I find my go to style falls into the Neo Anime category with bold lines and colorwork, but I also love to do black and grey stipple work pieces. Anything from manga, anime, video games, board games, if you have a fandom I will make you a long lasting and customized art piece.
